5 out of 5 stars So far the best deal around   July 29, 2010
John E (Seattle, WA USA)
I went to a chain store to buy replacement ink for my Cannon, and was shocked to see it was $65. That price is nothing more than gouging(I realize this was my fault for not researching before buying the printer, but I'm soured on Cannon and will not buy another product from them unless they stop gouging). I searched Amazon to see if there was a better deal on the ink, and was not thinking about non-OEM at all until I saw that for a set of ink plus 2 additional black for $6.45. Seemed too good to be true, but the reviews were mostly favorable so I tried it.

Observations:

A micro-puddle of ink was visible on each container upon opening it. I got a paper towel to dab the little puddle, and then inserted each one into the printer. They all work flawlessly and I cannot tell the difference in print quality between this and the Cannon branded ink.

2 warnings are this: #1. I have no idea how long this ink will last, and it may not produce as many prints as the OEM version. #2. You must have a paper towel and a garbage container on hand when inserting these or you will get an ink mess.

If over time I see this causes an issue, I'll update this review to reflect it, but so far this is an amazing deal.

2 out of 5 stars They work - but be very careful when installing   July 11, 2010

I have used two of these cartridges that I have order and have a word of advice - wear gloves and hold over several paper towels. These things will leak and permanently stain marble when taking off the orange tab. I would expect that all the cartridges will have the same leaking problem. Will be ordering Cannon original from now on.

Bottom line - if you don't mind looking like you have had a more than intimate relationship with Smurfette, these will work. My fingers will be blue for a week.

5 out of 5 stars Great price, work just fine   July 1, 2010

I was a bit skeptical but could not resist the price. It was a good buy. These printer cartridges work just fine for my Canon MX700. The colors are fine, even with printing photos.

This supplier did a great job - even reacted and fixed the wrong shipping address problem, this was my mistake - well done !

5 out of 5 stars Won't hesitate to buy re-furbished ink again   May 24, 2010

It drives me crazy to spend $60-$80 every 3-4 months on (a set of 4 or 4-individual) New name brand ink cartridges on a printer I spent less than $150. I have tried numerous generic cartridge manufacturers promising compatibility but, if they work at all, they usually clog the heads after a few pages. The 6-pak I purchased (with chip) this time of re-manufactured cartridges worked perfectly. No clumping, smudges or clogged heads and great value!
