INK JET CARTRIDGE April 20, 2010 Annalee J. Gregory (virginia beach, va) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
A very reliable supplier of merchandise. I like the large ink cartridge for extending the life of the cartridge.
not happy February 1, 2010 R. Hyman (usa) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought the 901XL because it was supposed to last 3x longer than the single cartridge. It will not. The type comes out very heavy (Like BOLD) and is not consistent. Some of the words are in normal face font, many are in bold type. There is no controlling it. I am very dissatisfied with this product. I would rate it 1/2 star.
Fast Draft! February 1, 2010 Kelly K. Newland 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I definitely agree with the reviewer who suggested you set your printer setting to "Fast Draft". I received this on December 7, 2009 and installed it the same day. I'm still using this cartridge (almost 2 months later) and I use my printer almost every day. I usually print out coupons and plain word documents and have not noticed a difference in print quality since changing to fast draft, but I have noticed a difference in how often I am replacing my ink.
Not a whole to say about buying ink cartridges January 23, 2010 Edward Jasudowich (The Villages, FL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My printer is principally used to produce materials for a large golf group so my print volume relatively high where reliability and price are primary considerations. So when I buy ink cartridges online I am looking for two things: 1, Genuine OEM product and 2, a good price. As always, Amazon was reliable for product quality and dependable delivery. The price was good too. As far as the cartridge goes it is supposed to produce 750 sheets at a cost of about $30 or 4 cents per sheet so I guess that is reasonable. The printer I am using (Officejet J4680) has been disappointing particulary when trying to use cost saving lower quality settings but that is a whole different discussion. At least they got the lower quality part right.
Poor Value- Buy the refill kits December 6, 2009 Gregory M. Sherry (Alpharetta, GA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
There are numerous posts on the 901 and 901xl about low number of pages printed for the money- so what do you do? Make an impacts with your dollars and actions: I've had good expereince with the refill kits by non-HP vendors (just do it outside and do wear the gloves to protect from any ink droplets). I'm sure I'm not supposed to mention names here, so google the HP cartride-type you want and then find a refill kit vendor that is highly rated. It's pretty easy to do. Maybe HP will address the situation/product value per dollar if their cartridge business falls off sharply? As most folks know- most companies in this space make more profit from the replacement cartidges than the printer/copier/hardware themselves.
