The cartridge is exactly what I needed. However, to get the most life out of it, make sure to choose print fast draft black and white only. I've been able to extend the life of the cartridge by quite a few copies.

I have to agree with other reviewers who were surprised at how quickly this cartridge petered out. I don't print much at home -- mostly boarding passes and the occasional recipe. I'm certain I haven't used 200 pages worth, but even if I had, that seems like a pretty small capacity. No wonder HP recommended buying 2 at a time! I'm glad I did or I would be stuck now. Before I buy another one of these, I'm going hunting for an option that offers a little more ink for my buck.

I'm blown away at how few pages i was able to print. I think Im going to buy a new printer and still save money.
