Replacement ink works fine in my officejet 6500 HP. Could wish the price was lower, but the previous cartridges lasted nearly 6 months, so I assume these will last the same length of time with light usage

Good value and beats any store price, especially using the Prime option. These cartridges last me a decent amount of time; I do use draft printing all of the time except when printing the final report. Makes the ink last a lot longer.

By HP default black print uses the color ink. If you can not manually select BLACK only when printing common for Apple users, you can reinstall the printer a second time but change the print drivers to basic HP laserjet, rename the printer to be aware. The result will be dramatic as the laserjet driver you will see the black text crisp and clear compared to the MIXED color. You will cut back on buying color cartridges and only need to buy one black cartridge instead for basic noncolor print jobs. Google it!

The whole thing is a waste of money. The cartridges don't last and the printer is not what it should be. My suggestion is to stay away from this printer. Hp won't admit that it is not worth the money.

I got an e-mail from Amazon to rate this purchase, so here's my review:
1. I ordered the HP 920 Retail Combo Pack (three colored inkjet cartridges for my HP OfficeJet 6000) on May 27th from Amazon for $25.93, with free shipping.
2. I received a confirmation e-mail, same day.
3. I received an e-mail on May 28 (next day), saying the item was shipped. So far so good.
4. On June 4, I received an e-mail telling me my order was returned (by USPS) as undeliverable (hmmm).
5. An exchange of e-mail with Amazon customer service over the next few days uncovered the fact that the item was returned by the Post Office as undeliverable because it was damaged!
6. On June 7, I placed an order directly with HP for the same item for $27.99 (plus $1.68 tax), with free NEXT DAY shipping.
7. The package arrived, as promised, on June 8 (via FedEx).
So why 5 stars?
1. HP makes quality products. I'm very happy with my printer and very happy with HP brand ink, which is the only brand I will use in it.
2. The problem with the order was NOT Amazon's fault. Besides, they shipped the item the very next day.
3. Even though the Post Office damaged the order, I must give them credit for NOT delivering damaged goods, which would have left ME with the responsibility to return it to Amazon.
4. Amazon credited my purchase promptly.
Bottom line: Amazon did their job very well. Even the Post Office looks good here (I do, however, prefer FedEx and/or UPS to the USPS for reliability and promptness). For a few dollars more I got my ink directly from HP overnight. I'm happy with my ink, happy with Amazon, and even pleased with the USPS. Of course, HP did a great job as well, but this is an Amazon review.
