I found this ink to have great print quality. I have only been using it in my printer for less than a month so I can't speak at this point to the duration. Based on my experience so far and the stated number of pages each cartridge will print vs the non XL I will order this product again.

I purchased this product with my printer and they delivered good product promptly. Today I was going to re-order but thought I'd check the price elsewhere. I'm glad I did. Buying the same 4 cartridges directly from hp is almost exactly half the price and they give free next-day delivery too.
Of course prices change all the time, but I suggest you shop before buying.

I had purchased the HP Officejet 6500, through one of the on-line shopping networks. Ink cartridges didn't last too long, so I purchased these XLs. So far, they have been a much improved addition to the printer.....
