 Don't buy from SophiaGlobal July 14, 2010

My Brother MFC-9840CDW needed all 4 toners after 3 months of use. Brother recommends replacing the toner cartridges with Brother brand, not "compatible". I also did not want refurbished, so I shopped around for "new" toner cartridges from the most trusted Internet shopping site, Amazon.com. I have shopped numerous times with Amazon and other suppliers that use Amazon as their portal. I have had no prior bad experiences until now.
I ended up getting my 4 toner cartridges from 3 different venders. One of the order was rejected by the vender (SophiaGlobal), because SophiaGlobal advertised the toner cartridge as "new" when in fact it was "refurbished". Instead of making good on the order by shipping me the new toner cartridge, eventhough it may have cost them, SophiaGlobal just cancelled the order.
I had to place another order to replace the cancelled order. (What a hassle!)
I consider this bad customer service from SophiaGlobal. To make things worse, Amazon won't help me at all, because Amazon has a buying guarantee policy that only covers completed orders. Amazon won't force SophiaGlobal to make good on my original order, nor would Amazon fulfill my original order with a different vender at the same price.
I hope this is an isolated incident. I hope....

Product as advertised. Easy installation. So far so good since it's only my first toner replacement. Although pricier than generic, well worth the extras since Amazon has the best pricing as compared to other online competitors and free shipping. Highly recommend it for your replacement.

We purchased a four-pack of the TN115 high yield cartridges. Thinking to save some money, we bought them through amazon's [...] partnership. When we put them in to our printer, we were a little disappointed, but lived with the poor ink quality for about a year. We finally got fed up and ordered the real Brother cartridges... what a difference!
The colors were quite faded and greyed in the compatible cartridges, compared to the Brother cartridges.
I wish we'd ordered replacements earlier. Since we lived with it for so long we're not eligible for any type of refund or exchange...

Brother Laser Cyan was defective. Caused a "blue stripe" down the middle of the printed pg. However, mfgr/distributor of product was proactive and expedient in taking care of issue; and replacing the defective unit.
